The ABCs of DISC

          After the test, I think the Sc type is exactly who I am. I don't want to be another type because I like to be myself that I used to be. According to the description of S's tendencies include: demonstrating patience; desiring to help others and being a good listener. I think these three items describe me better.
           I think I can become Cs type because I think Sc and Cs have a connection. It depends on stediness or conscientiousness more. Those C type people are more creativity and thinking more analytically.
           Sure. It is helpful to determine people's management "type" to better understand where they are from. As an employer, you can know the employees better, and arrange them positions and work environment which will be more suitable for them. As an employee, we can find out what do we need others and how to be more effective in the work place.
           A test like this helps me in other persinal interactions. I know what I need to do can be more effective. Also, I know what other types people need others to do. I can learn to how to communicate, interact and cooperating with them.

The Power of Vision

         As I saw in the radio of " The Power of Vision", I learn that we need to shape the future and sense the control for the vision. Victor Fankl,  a Jewish editor, he said that "first need to survive, second use the medical skill and third try to learn". Also the host told us yet to do in the future (have a positive vision).  We learn that "men search for meaning" which vision developed by leader are 1)leader initiate   2)share to team  and supported vision community must work together  3)comprehensive, detailed  4)positive inspiring.
          I have 3 goals for my future after I graduate from Baruch.  First I need to find a better job in financial institute, second is to speak fluent Japanese and third is to travel aroun d the world to take photograph. In order to reach them, I have to plan step by step.
          Finding a position related to investment is the shape of the future for me. I am taking the Finance's courses in Baruch. I am working in a bank as a part time job to get more experience. Also, I read the reports from The Wall Street Journal and communicate with co-workers who is master in Finance. These steps help me well prepare for the career.
          Speaking fluent Japanese may not interested to everyone. I like it , so I have to make it work. I read the books, listening to the CD, watch more Japanese movies and communicate with Japanese in Japanese supermarket. I'm planning to take the international Japanese Test. I'm trying to learn language skill more.
          Traveling around the world seems to far away. However, it based on two goals ahead. If I can reach the first two, earn more money from my job and have more language skill, I can go anywhere I want to go and enjoy other countries' culture.
          I understand clearly that vision with action is to change the world. I wish my action with vision is to change my future.
